2. Brentwood

Brentwood is a small neighborhood with tree-lined streets and adorable bungalows. It is located near Allandale in Travis County. This community is most well-known for the incredible 9-acre Brentwood Park. The park includes baseball fields, tennis courts, soccer fields and more.

Students in Brentwood attend schools managed by the Austin Independent School District. These schools include Brentwood Elementary School, Lamar Middle School and McCallum High School. Families love Brentwood for its quaintness, quietness and safety.

3. Circle C Ranch

The community of Circle C Ranch contains over 6,400 homes and is still growing. Located in Travis County, southwest of Austin, Circle C Ranch contains over 500 acres of parks and conservation space. Most of Circle C Ranch is zoned to Austin Independent School District, although some parts are zoned to Hays Consolidated ISD. 4. Avery Ranch

Located northwest of Austin, Avery Ranch is an 1,800 acre master-planned community. The amenities are what attract thousands of families to the neighborhood. Residents get to enjoy golf courses, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails, parks, playgrounds, basketball courts and so much more. 

Avery Ranch schools are managed by Round Rock ISD and Leander ISD. The most well-attended schools in the neighborhood are Rutledge Elementary School, Stiles Middle School and Vista Ridge High School. Avery Ranch is a tight-knit community that is perfect for families.

5. Santa Rita Ranch

Located northwest of Austin, Santa Rita Ranch is the place to be for families who are looking for fun-filled entertainment and beautiful homes. Santa Rita Ranch was voted Master-Planned Community of the Year for the third year in a row in 2019. The community has millions of dollars worth of community amenities and is incredibly safe. Liberty Hill ISD and Georgetown ISD are the two school districts that students are zoned to in Santa Rita Ranch. 6. Barton Hills

7. Teravista

One of the best-selling neighborhoods in Austin, Teravista is a master-planned community that is more than well-suited for families. Round Rock ISD and Georgetown ISD are the school districts that serve the Teravista community.
