There are two restaurants in Bridgeland at the Lakeland Village Center:

Local Table: rated four and a half stars on Yelp. Reviewers say the food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting and the staff are very attentive. 

Chilosos Taco House: rated three and a half stars on Yelp. Reviewers praise the breakfast tacos and fresh, hand-made tortillas.

Bridgeland, Texas falls under the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. There are two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school located directly in or close to Bridgeland:

Pope Elementary: this school is highly rated on multiple websites with an average of four and a half stars. Reviewers write that their children love their teachers and the school is attentive to both student and parent needs. 

Wells Elementary: also highly rated on multiple websites with an average of four and a half stars, reviewers praise the educators at this school and write that children love attending. 

Smith Middle School: reviewers on multiple websites give this school an average of four stars. Parents and students write that the teachers are incredible and the experience is enjoyable.

Bridgeland High School: this school is highly rated on many websites with an average of four stars. Students love their teachers and all of the sports, arts, clubs and activities that are offered.

Bridgeland Crime Reviews

While there are no crime statistics for Bridgeland specifically, the city of Cypress has low crime. According to Neighborhood Scout, the House Hahl Road / Longenbaugh Road area (where Bridgeland is located) is the safest area in Cypress. The Texas state average of violent crime per 1,000 residents is 4.19, while the city of Cypress is less than half of that at 1.54. Similarly, the Texas average of property crime per 1,000 residents is 23.91 while Cypress has an average of 11.93.

In Bridgeland specifically, most residents are not concerned about crime. There are security officers and gate guards at most parks, amenities and trails. The community even offers gated neighborhoods for those looking for extra security.

Should You Move to Bridgeland, Texas?

Bridgeland is an incredible neighborhood with a plethora of things to do. In Bridgeland you can find endless activities for children, places to lounge for adults and opportunities for families to spend time together. The community is planned to grow in the next decade with hundreds of more acres to fill with parks and homes.
